Our Team

Brandie is the founder and CEO of Crayons To Credits Educational Consulting, LLC. She received her bachelor's degree from Monmouth University, and her master's in special education from Concordia University.   With over 16 years of experience in the field of education, Brandie is deeply motivated by her own experiences as a neurodivergent individual. Her personal journey has inspired her to create an education system that recognizes and supports the unique needs of each learner, particularly those who are neurodivergent. 

Throughout her distinguished career, Brandie has accumulated valuable expertise by spending more than a decade as a classroom teacher, followed by an additional five years in educational administration. This combination of direct teaching experience and leadership in educational settings has provided Brandie with invaluable insights into the challenges faced by both students and educators. 

At the heart of Brandie’s mission is the desire to create a more inclusive and accessible education system. She is committed to advocating for environments that not only acknowledge but embrace the diverse learning needs of all students. Brandie is especially passionate about empowering educators, helping them to not only meet the needs of neurodivergent students but to thrive in their roles. She believes in the power of professional development and seeks to provide teachers with the tools, knowledge, and support necessary to make their classrooms neurodivergent-friendly.

As CEO of C2C, Brandie ensures that every student receives the high-quality education they deserve in an environment where they can truly flourish.  Her philosophy is embodied in her two well-known taglines: “make smart choices, and have a dance party”—a reminder to approach challenges with joy and creativity, and “break barriers and build futures”—which reflects her dedication to creating opportunities and possibilities for every student, regardless of their individual needs.

Beyond her work at C2C, Brandie is a thought leader in the education community. She is constantly advocating for systemic changes that will make education more equitable and responsive to the needs of all learners, with a special focus on those who are neurodivergent. 

 Courtney B. is a dedicated professional with a diverse background. After earning a Psychology degree from Flagler College in 2015, she initially ventured into corporate America but soon found her true passion in working with students with special needs. This led her to roles as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) and clinic manager before joining the C2C team.

At C2C, Courtney serves as the billing specialist, playing a key role in managing the organization's finances. She is also known for stepping in to help wherever necessary, showcasing her versatility and commitment to the team. One of the aspects of her job that she finds most rewarding is witnessing the growth of students and seeing their expressions of achievement when they master concepts they’ve struggled with.

In her personal time, Courtney enjoys reading, nurturing her plant collection, and spending time with her cats. She also has a strong passion for fashion and loves visiting theme parks, especially for the thrill of roller coasters.

Courtney S. is our St. Augustine Site Director and Markering Director. She has 4 years of classroom experience in public education, primarily in Exceptional Student Education (ESE). Courtney is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs. She is also a homeschooling parent to two children on the autism spectrum, giving her a unique perspective that blends professional knowledge with lived experience. She doesn't just empathize, she lives it! 

Additionally, Courtney spent five years coordinating and directing programs and events, and leading marketing efforts at a local nonprofit serving the disability community through inclusive events, resources, and support services. 

In her personal time, Courtney enjoys gardening, listening to podcasts and going on antiquing road trips with her mom. She loves spending time with her family and her very fluffy Siberian Husky.

Carla is a dedicated human services professional and educator with more than 23 years of experience in child development and Montessori education. As an experienced Montessori teacher and trainer, she is passionate about creating structured, inclusive learning environments where neurodiverse individuals can thrive.

Inspired by her personal journey as the mother of an autistic child, Carla is pursuing a degree in Human Services with a concentration in Advocacy at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where she has earned recognition on the President's List. She also volunteers with Be The Change NE in Jacksonville, connecting individuals and families with essential resources and support.

Through her work in both education and community advocacy, Carla is committed to empowering others, promoting inclusion, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

Tom is one of our certified teachers. He brings more than 20 years of experience as a public-school special education teacher, dedicating his career to supporting neurodivergent learners. Throughout his career, he has served students in three Florida school districts and one South Carolina school district, building a strong foundation in individualized instruction and inclusive education.

Tom believes that every student has the ability to learn and is passionate about creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that meet a variety of learning styles. His goal is to foster confidence, curiosity, and success by helping each student discover their unique strengths.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Florida Atlantic University and completed Reading Specialist coursework at the University of South Carolina.

Outside of the classroom, Tom enjoys gardening, gaming, and cheering on his favorite sports teams. He is a proud father of 8-year-old twins and has been happily married for 23 years.

Julia is one of our certified teachers at our Jacksonville site. She brings more than 10 years of experience teaching middle and high school science, including five years specializing in supporting neurodivergent learners. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about helping students understand science through meaningful, hands-on experiences and connecting classroom learning to the natural world around them.

Julia believes that students learn best when they are curious, engaged, and given opportunities to explore science for themselves. She strives to create inclusive learning environments that encourage students to ask questions, make observations, think critically, and build confidence in their ability to understand the world around them.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Florida and her Master of Science in Ecology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her academic background in ecology, combined with her years in the classroom, gives her a unique perspective on biology, environmental science, and the natural world.

Outside of the classroom, Julia enjoys kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, exploring Florida’s natural areas, making jewelry, and spending time with her family. She especially loves sharing her enthusiasm for nature and finding ways to help others see the science and beauty in the world around them.

Laterial is a dedicated educator and mental health counselor with a strong passion for making a difference in the lives of young people. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, earned in 2015, along with endorsements in ESOL and Reading, reflecting her commitment to equipping diverse learners with the tools they need to succeed. In 2019, Laterial furthered her expertise by earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, cementing her dedication to holistic support for children and families.

Laterial specializes in working with neurodivergent children, adolescents, and young adults, guiding them through life’s challenges while celebrating their unique strengths. Her compassionate approach extends to at-risk youth, where she thrives on empowering them to overcome obstacles and transform into resilient, productive adults. Through her work with C2C, she finds immense fulfillment in helping children and families navigate difficult times, offering support and tools to overcome hardships and build brighter futures. 

Outside of her professional life, Laterial enjoys exploring her creative and adventurous sides. She is an avid reader and anime enthusiast, often finding inspiration and relaxation in stories and visual arts. She also loves experimenting in the kitchen, crafting delicious meals. As a theater lover, she appreciates the magic of live performances, and her passion for travel allows her to experience the beauty of different cultures and places.

 Faith is a passionate and dedicated senior at the University of North Florida, where she is pursuing a degree in Special Education. Her journey to becoming an educator began in unexpected ways, starting with roles in office administration and as a server. These early experiences helped her develop strong interpersonal and organizational skills, but it was her two years as a substitute teacher that revealed her true calling. During this time, Faith discovered the profound joy of helping students recognize their potential, overcome challenges, and achieve meaningful progress.

Faith is particularly driven by her desire to create inclusive learning environments where all students, regardless of their abilities, feel valued and empowered to succeed. Her commitment to education goes beyond the classroom; she dedicates her free time to making candles, which reflects her creativity and patience, and reading to continually expand her knowledge. Faith also actively volunteers with the First Coast Lion Dance Troupe, where she helps preserve cultural traditions while engaging with her local community. Her diverse experiences and unwavering enthusiasm make her a well-rounded and impactful future educator.

Hunter is an Assistant Teacher at Crayons to Credits with over ten years of experience working with children, including the past 6+ years focused on supporting children with special needs. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and certified in In-Home Care, she provides patient, evidence-based support that promotes developmental growth, independence, and emotional well-being.

Hunter is known for her compassion, adaptability, strong organizational skills, and clear communication. She works closely with families, educators, and support teams to create safe, structured, and nurturing environments where each child can thrive. She has a strong interest in physiology and psychology and is committed to lifelong learning. Outside of her professional role, Hunter fosters kittens and volunteers in local community clean-up efforts, reflecting her dedication to helping others both inside and outside the classroom.

Cameron has worked with children since age 16, building over a decade of hands-on experience in summer camps and schools, including public classrooms and private institutions such as The Bolles School. He currently serves as a teaching assistant at C2C, where he provides responsive, supportive care for neurodivergent learners and is known as a steady, trusted presence.

A formative experience working closely with a child with autism affirmed Cameron’s natural ability to connect with children who need patience, structure, and emotional safety. At C2C, he supports academics and enjoys leading hands-on science activities that spark curiosity and confidence, particularly with early and elementary learners.

Outside the classroom, Cameron offers in-home childcare for children ages one and up, with a focus on neurodivergent-aware care. He holds an associate degree and plans to continue his education in a child-focused field.
